Benton Conservation District – Offers consultation on environmental/ecological issues for residents
Columbia Basin Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society – Provides information about native plants, native plant events such as hikes and webinars, and holds an annual fall plant sale. Offers up to $500 grants for native plant-related activities (but you need to be a member or know a member who will sponsor you)
Cowiche Canyon Conservancy – preserves a sizeable amount of land near Yakima, Washington. Also hosts educational events
Washington Native Plant Society – Provides information on Washington Native Plants, including publishing a journal, Douglasia. Offers up to $2000 grants
Conservation Northwest – Provides education on northwest ecology. Has a Sagelands Heritage Program
Sage Grouse Initiative – Provides education and native planting consultation and financial support for ranchers
Washington Native Bee Society – Hosts educational events and provides information about Washington State native bees
Columbia Riverkeeper – environmental organization focused on protecting and restoring the “Columbia” River (Nch’i-Wána)
